In November, hotel prices start to come down but the water is still warm enough for comfortable diving in a decent wetsuit (the locals might not consider swimming now, but hardy tourists do). The Cathedral Dive is a good pick; diving up to 45ft, you can look through the ‘windows’ of this dome – the shafts of sunlight filtering through might pick up species like the lobster, hiding in crevices. Parrotfish sometimes school in this area too (an unusual behaviour). Groupers are frequently present, as well as lots of bright nudibranchs. If you’re lucky, you might spot a turtle.
