Bermuda has a new bird on its list, the Bermuda Audubon Society reports. A Western Marsh Harrier was spotted at the end of last year, at Morgan’s Point. The bird stayed around for about a month, so that Paul Watson’s surprising sighting could be confirmed by photograph , before being spotted again by David Wingate two months later on Hawkins Island. This species is also known as the Eurasian Marsh Harrier.
