New Gallery Showcases Jill Amos Raine’s Art

Jill Amos Raine’s art has gone on show at a new gallery Front Street, Hamilton. Gallery One Seventeen is showcasing the work of both Bermudian and International artists, providing a sharp new space for established, traditional painters as well as those with a modernist or expressionist slant to show their work.

The owner, Danjou Anderson, told The Royal Gazette, “We represent some of the best Bermuda has to offer in fine art” and added, “We have an artistic environment here — a lot of people don’t realise until they visit galleries and see how good the work is.” The gallery will be selling finished paintings from their stable of artists and can also arrange commissions.

Jill is the artistic force behind Bermuda’s Top 10: A Guide to the Island’s Wildlife. Ten of her evocative watercolour seascapes and landscapes feature in this wildlife travel guide.
