Camera Path Editor is very easy to use and requires you to do little or nothing to make a good camera path.
You can then either export it (using the button on the top right) to one of the supported format or import it (double-clicking on the button on the bottom) from your own.xml file.
If you want to create a complex spline (like for instance the one you can see on the right of the screen), you can start by creating a curve. This is done by double clicking on the spline node.
After, you have to move the nodes of this node to your desired position. You can control movement by clicking on a control point and defining its duration, angle, offset and/or easing. You can drag and drop the nodes to modify their position and / or rotation.
Double clicking on a control point closes it and allow you to select another one.
The “Ctrl+Z” will undo your change.
When a control point is selected, you can choose the desired easing function to create a smooth transition.
On the bottom right side, you can see the live preview of the spline.
If you click on the “Triangle”, you will be able to edit and to add more point at this position.
Numerical values for each control point can be modified by setting their value to be either Positive (up) or Negative (down).
To export your 3D camera path to the supported formats, do the following:
* Choose “Export Camera Path” in the “Help” menu and then select the required format. In the dialog box, specify the destination file name, file format, to restrict the process to the current directory, the memory buffer size to be used, and the time range to be exported.
* Click on “Import spline from” and choose the requested file format.
